技術的には同じWARだから同等に印象的だけど、大谷は2人分の役割をこなすことで実質的にドジャースにロースターの枠を1つ増やしてくれているんだ
They are technically equally impressive since they’re at the same WAR, but Ohtani also effectively gives the Dodgers an extra roster spot by being a 2-in-1 player
個人的には定義上、同等に印象的だと思う。逆に大谷が投手でもあることを考えれば、彼の方がより印象的だとも言える。全てのショートは打席に立つけど、マウンドに上がる打者は2人（大谷とロハス）しかいないからね。でも絶対値で見れば両者の貢献は同じ。大谷は偉大な打者かつ偉大な投手であり、ウィットは偉大な打者かつ信じられないほど偉大なショートであるという点でね
IMO by definition it’s equally impressive. You could turn it around and say Ohtani is even more impressive considering he is a pitcher as well, all shortstops take the batters box but only 2 hitters take the mound (Ohtani and Rojas)
But in absolute value terms both contribute the same. Ohtani by being a great pitcher on top of being a great hitter and Witt rn by being an insanely great shortstop on top of being a great hitter
