I mean, those two statements can be true at the same time: the strike zone did used to be called a bit more liberally, but it has now gotten smaller as it’s properly enforced. I see what he’s getting at.

I know the Sox playing the Dbacks isn’t exactly a common thing for the team, but they need to come over here more often. It’s good for the team! The next time they’re out this way, I definitely want to see them live. I usually can’t watch them live outside of Spring Training games at Camelback Ranch.

It’s awesome for the Sox to be winning games. What I like best about Burke & Martin is they don’t allow many free passes. Taylor does a good job limiting walks out of the pen. Walks are a cancer, as they not only inevitably lead to losses, but they’re demoralizing to the position players in the field.
