Story time! I was at the first game Nando lost that year. I was there with mom and dad, sister and boyfriend, and a couple others. My mom didn’t go to another game for ~20 years though I went to many every year. Flash forward to July 2003 and I treated my parents and in-laws to a game (my newborn son’s first). Sure enough Gagne blows his first save after 55 straight. Mom turns to me and says: “See?! This is why I don’t go to Dodgers games.”.
