Ackshually the katakana in the front says “Dodgers” so it’s technically a “Dodger” jerseyBut yeah I agree, I collect jerseys and this isn’t really something I would buy for the collection since it’s more of a “fanmade” jersey

Bootleg is selling knock off authentic jerseys that are made to look like the real thing, thus deceiving the buyer into thinking they’re paying for quality that they’re not getting. This is just a craftsman/artist not paying the Dodgers and MLB a licensing fee for using their trademarks in their own creation. Something that has been crafted this carefully isn’t bootleg. Bootleg denotes poor quality and con artists at work. This is certainly trademark infringement, sure. But so is a lot of art and goods created independently. There’s a lot of great artist out there painting custom Dodger baseball cards, or custom Nike shoes, awesome t-shirts etc.
