Seems like a weird thing to break their system. Obviously the other pitchers had now problem being recorded on both the hitting ledger as well as the pitching ledger. All you have to do is put a PH next to him instead of a P.

He was able to hit because he still hadn’t technically been removed from the game as a pitcher. He had pitched the top of the 6th, was inserted into the lineup to pinch hit in the bottom of the 6th, which resulted in the Dodgers forfeiting the DH the rest of the game. Then afterwards in the top of the 7th he was removed as a pitcher, when they put in Henriquez. After Henriquez came in, Shohei was then ultimately removed from the batting lineup.

Yes that’s why it shows Henriquez, Dreyer and Vesia in the batting lineup. The game was over though before the spot in the lineup came up again.
