昨日のスプリッターは本当にエグかったな。試合中ずっと打者が空を切らされていたよ。スプリッターとカッターが両方決まっている時の彼は、正直言って反則レベルだ。打者はヤマを張るしかないし、大抵は外される。スプリングトレーニングからずっと言っているけど、彼がこうして集中している時はリーグの誰も打てないよ。スプリッターの変化は馬鹿げているほどだ。最初の数試合で「投げ方を忘れたのか？」なんてパニックになっていたにわかファンがいたのが今となっては笑えるね
man that splitter was disgusting yesterday, had guys swinging at shadows all game honestly when he got both splitter and cutter working at same time its basically unfair, batters just guessing at that point and usually guessing wrong i been saying since spring training when he is locked in like this nobody in the league can touch him, the movement on that splitter is just stupid also kinda funny how casual fans were panicking after his first couple starts like he forgot how to pitch or something

When he has control of those and the sinker too, hitters wont be able to get a read. Thats why he has flirted with perfection and no-nos a few times already. Im entirely convinced he will get one, just needs to be on the whole game with no mistakes.

His motion looks the same every single time, so yep you just have to guess whether it will be fastball painted on the black, splitter in the dirt, cutter up and in (LHB) or low and away (RHB), or a sinker. The downside is if he’s off that day, and some of those pitches aren’t doing what he wants he can either get hit pretty hard or batters can foul everything off and drive up his pitch count quickly. Not very often we see that happen with him though.
